LUMID in High Demand

We are delighted to inform you that the Lumid programme received a total of 1,220 student applications for the coming year, which constitutes an approximately 50 per cent increase from last year. As usual, only 40 students will be admitted to the programme.

The LUMID programme (a two-year interdisciplinary master programme) provides students with in-depth and applied knowledge of international development issues and challenges, with a particular focus on their implications for research and management practices. It is designed to enhance students’ previous knowledge, skills and experiences with the ultimate aim to equip graduates with professional capacity to contribute to development on global and local levels.

Our alumni have successfully gained employment in an extensive number of development organisations worldwide. LUMID is a proud member of the Global Association for Master’s in Development Practice (MDP), a premiere network of development master programmes that among other things offers our students access to international lectures and seminars on global development issues.
