Main research and teaching areas:
- Climate change denial
- History of environmental politics/thought
- Environmental and utopian movements
- Business strategies
- Neoliberalism
Current research:
My research focuses broadly on the intersection between business strategies and environmental movements and politics. I am currently engaged in a project on petroculture where I analyse how oil dependency is framed in a protest event in late 1980s Sweden. I am also engaged in different projects analysing climate change politics and the strategies of business and neoliberal actors.
I have written extensively on conflicts regarding climate politics in Sweden and internationally.

Review
Before joining the department in Lund (2023) I was a post-doc at Science, Technology and Society at Chalmers University of Technology. I received my PhD in History (2016) with a thesis on Intentional communities and utopian political thought in Sweden.
I have also worked as a researcher at the National Museums of World Culture and as lecturer at Gothenburg University.
I am part of the research networks CEFORCED and Climate Social Science Network which both brings together scholars and research on the forces that obstruct and hinder meaningful climate action.
