Karin Lindsjö, Department of Human Geography, Lund University for giving feed-back to the local Community from her earlier field-works and supplementary field-work within the framework of her doctoral project concerning education at primary and secondary levels in Tanzania with a special focus on, so called, "Skipped Generation Households", viz. households that have been severely hit by the AIDS-epidemic. The field-work is carried out in the Iringa Region of Tanzania.
Hele Kiimann, Department of Social and Economic Geography, Uppsala University for supplementary field-work in Estonia within the framework of her doctoral project: Human Niche Construction on Costal Landscapes of North-West Estonia.
The stipends will be presented at the Annual Meeting of the Sydsvenska Geografiska Sällskapet och "Geographers gathering" on May 21 at 1800 hours in Sångsalen, Akademiska Föreningen, Lund.
